Virus Burst: What is it, how did I get it, and how can I remove it?
By Matt Williams
VirusBurst is one of those pesky rogue anti-spyware programs that generate fake security warnings in a malicious attempt to get you to purchase the full featured program. VirusBurst is also known by the name of VirusRescue and SpywareQuake. Whatever the name, the end result is the same: an unsolicited Trojan program that installs on your personal computer operating system and scares you with fake safety warnings.
The “Operating system detected virus motions” warning is totally fake. Its sole purpose is to get you to follow the link in the warning balloon in order to purchase the “solution” to wipe the supposed threats. If you do purchase their solution, you've just been scammed! Your os was fine until VirusBurst burst its way onto your Pc.
One way that VirusBurst sneaks onto a operating system is by acting as if it's a required “codec” to play music or video. Because users want the music or video to play, they will allow the codec to be installed. VirusBurst also piggybacks its way onto system by bundling itself onto other programs a user might download.

The best way to rid your registry of VirsBurst is invest in a good anti-spyware program and guarantee it current. Not only will this take care of your immediate problem, it will prevent future infections as well.
To manually clear VirusBlast, you will need to work with the operating system system which is exceedingly precarious and should only be attempted by someone with high technical skills and only after a backup has been made.

Best of all, with cyclical updates and scans, your System will persist spyware free. In addition, you will recover os resources lost to spyware programs.
